I was honored when asked to create posters that celebrate Pixar's latest feature film: Up. ( In theaters May 29)It was a dream assignment for sure, and I'm sure you will see quite a bit of influence from both the classic travel art of yesterday as well as vintage Disneyland attraction posters; Two of my favorite genres of art and design.
It was quite a thrill to see them exhibited in the Pixar atrium, as I had admired the Ratatouille and Wall-E posters displayed there previously. Here they are alongside offerings from artists Eric Tan, Craig Foster and Erik Evans.
