I'm working on a follow up to my previous Supergirl for the sgirl meme that's still going on.
Initially, I did a take off on her cousins' blue suit, but then I kinda thought I'd show her in something closer to the Bruce Timm animated version. She's still a WIP, as I'm going to play with textures, contrast etc...
But am wondering which version folks might like better. Got an opinion?
Now's yer chance, the lines are open. Vote now, and vote often! :)

Hmmmm, I like them both, but I prefer the bottom one. The top one feels a little more super girlish, because of the blue, but I like the look of the bottom one better. Maybe if the second one had a hint more blue color in the shirt it would help her feel a little more super girly, but I really diggit.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't think you can just drop the blue on the shirt. Without it, if just looks like some girl flying around wishing she was related to Superman. I thought the same thing when she showed up in the cartoon.
I prefer the bottom one's costume, but I think her proportions are a little strange. She doesn't have to be really voluptuous, but her musculature is pretty masculine. I do like that she's bottom-heavy, though.
I'm kinda partial to the white shirt. Frankly, it's more stylish, too. That said, I really liked the prep-school take that you did the first time around. It breaks from tradition enough to suggest an interesting story. The costume that's closer to Superman's doesn't, and the one with the white shirt seems good and spunky, but not as interesting.
Bready-thanks, hope you like the finished version.
kyle- I hear ya...I think I lean more towards the blue myself...but I thought it would be fun to do an homage to the Animated version while I was in the mood.
stephanie-Ha. I've been getting that quite a bit lately on my girl characters! I softened the shoulders and the forearms a bit. Glad you liked her bottom...I was definitely going for that, as opposed to a supermodel waif.
jt- Thanks John. Glad you liked my other take...
Yep, I was definitely thinking of a different version of her than is in the current continuity. Sorry you didn't like the take that's closer to her cuz's...I kinda like it. :)
Thanks for the feedback folks.
I really appreciate it.
