Sketching

I'm trying to be better about having a pad out and sketching on things as I work (during the savings and sendings...)
Here's some recent doodles, and thinkings....

Random, doodles:
This next page is inspired by (I'm lifting it verbatim) the James Tucker cover art for the comics version of the great new Cartoon Network show "Batman, the Brave and the Bold". Plus some "Vision" head noodlings in there too (he's the latest challenge from Everett Downing):

The New Gods meet Star Trek (now that would be a rockin comic!):
And some Barock inspiration from Dan McDaids' great new comic Jersey Gods from Image comics (pick it up, his art is fantastic):

These rock harder than AC/DC man. They are all great, but that Jersey Gods sketch is blowing my mind.

Big fan,

JV- Have you been "ThunderStruck"? :)
Thanks on the JG, I had some good inspiration there.

Rico- Ha...I love me some Sleestacks. That would be a fun comic to work on for sure...
Wonder how the Will Ferrell movie will be?

Mike- Yeah, it's a good thing. You should.

Dan- Thanks man- your great artwork is inspiring me. You should rest up after NY, let me do the inking now. :)

Thanks guys for the comments, they encourage me to keep on.
